Dan and Yajaira's shop on High Street
Auto Perfection is a family detailing shop at 400 High St in Hackettstown, New Jersey. Dan Maya opened it in 2008 with his wife Yajaira, and the family still runs it.
Who is Auto Perfection?
Dan started detailing at 18, working for another detailer. In 2008 he opened a small shop in Hackettstown with his wife Yajaira, and the two of them have run it as a family business ever since.
The shop opened in 2008, and the way it describes itself has not changed: “We are a premium detailing company known for our high-quality work. We take pride in every vehicle that we detail.”
They have four sons, and one of them, Dan Jr, is a manager at the shop. Chris handles the paint protection film work.
The Mayas' family comes from Puerto Rico, and they have lived in Mt. Olive for 21 years. The shop is fully insured. To reach them, call (908) 813-1130.

A small-town shop that works for more than one kind of customer
Auto Perfection details cars for local used-car lots and large-volume dealerships in New Jersey and New York, as well as for drivers who bring in their own cars, trucks, motorcycles, boats and jet skis from across Northern NJ and NYC.
Dan has attended local events, supported nearby schools and been to SEMA in Las Vegas. The Mayas describe the neighborhood this way: “it's a small town with lots of great small businesses ... all within walking distance to the shop.”
