Which dents qualify
Paintless dent removal is for the dent the paint survived: a door ding from a parking lot, a small dent in a fender or a quarter panel, a crease where the paint is still unbroken. If the paint has not cracked or chipped, the metal can usually be worked back to shape without touching the finish.
Every dent is different, so the quickest way to find out is to call the shop at (908) 813-1130 and describe it, or send a quote request. Tell us the panel, roughly how big the dent is, and whether you can see any damage to the paint around it.
If the paint is broken, the answer changes. A chip is a separate repair, a color-matched touch-up that we quote by phone, and we would rather tell you that before you drive to High Street than after.

Worked out from behind the panel
The dent is pushed back out from behind the panel, a little at a time, until the surface is level again. Nothing is filled and nothing is repainted, so the finish that comes out of the repair is the finish that went in.
That is also why a paintless repair does not show up on a Carfax report. There is no bodywork to record, because there was no bodywork.
It is usually about an hour or less, so a single ding does not turn into a day without your car. Panels with more than one dent take longer, and we will tell you how much longer once we have seen them.

The price is per panel, so a lone ding on a door is one panel and a dent in a fender plus the door beside it is two.

Before you book the dent
A dent often comes with other things you have been meaning to fix.
