Paint protection film in Hackettstown, NJ
Self-healing Llumar film over the bumpers, hood and fenders that take the rock chips, installed by Chris in the bay at 400 High St.
Chapter 01
What the film takes instead of your paint
Paint protection film is a clear layer that goes over the paint on the parts of a car that get hit. Rock chips and road rash land on the leading edges, the bumper, the front of the hood, the fenders and the mirrors, and the film takes that damage instead of the clear coat underneath.
The film we install is Llumar, and it is self-healing. That matters on a truck that sees highway gravel every week, and on a new car you plan to keep looking new.
It goes on here, in the bay at 400 High Street in Hackettstown, under the same hexagon lights we use to check paint before any protection is applied.

Bumpers, hood, roof or the whole car
Film goes where the damage goes. Customers choose the bumpers, fenders, hood, roof, mirrors and doors, or they have the whole car done. A front-end job and a full-vehicle job are very different amounts of film and work, which is why there is no single price on a sign.
Chris does the installs. Nuno Pereira had him film a 2026 Cadillac CT5 V Blackwing, and another customer brought in a brand new truck for film and called the results stunning. If you want to know who will have his hands on your car, it is Chris.
Film is applied to paint that is already clean. If your finish has swirls or wash marring, ask about paint correction first, because film sits over whatever finish is already there.
Chapter 03
Film or ceramic coating?
Film is physical protection. A ceramic coating is gloss and easy cleaning.
They do different jobs, and some owners choose both: film on the front end where the chips land, and a coating conversation for the rest of the paint. Our YouTube channel has a video that sets PPF and ceramic coating side by side if you would like to see the difference before you decide.
We do not publish film prices. Every car is quoted on its own: call (908) 813-1130 or use the quote form, and tell us the model and how much of it you want covered.
"Chris did a great job on the PPF for my 2026 Cadillac CT5 V Blackwing." Nuno Pereira, Google review.

What goes on before the film
Film follows prep. A car with swirls gets paint correction first, and an owner who wants gloss as well can talk through a ceramic coating for the rest of the paint.
Wash and detail packages are priced on the detailing prices by vehicle size page, and film is quoted separately. The shop is open Mon-Fri 9-5, Sat 9-1; to describe your car and the panels you want covered, send a quote request or ring (908) 813-1130.
